Kosovo
The situation in Kosovska Mitrovica is still tense. This morning, some 25,000 Kosovo Albanians walked from Pristina to Kosovska Mitrovica protesting against inter-ethnic clashes which happened in the area recently and division of the town. Albanians ask the town to be united claiming that para-military units from Belgrade are situated in the North of the town. The headquarters of KFOR announced they would continue implementation of measures necessary for the decrease of tensions in the area. The report was produced by OBN journalist, Zeljka Lekic.
Budapest
In Budapest, representatives of 32 European countries of the Stability Pact, the USA, Canada and 18 international organisation agree principles of projects for the development of democracy and human rights. During his opening speech, the Hungarian Foreign Minister said that the Stability Pact can be really successful only if democratic principles were adopted all over South Eastern Europe and specially in Yugoslavia. Bosnia and Herzegovina presented projects on the protection of ethnic minorities’ rights, relations between the sexes, civil society, education, media, refugee return and cooperation between parliamentary bodies. Implementation of these projects depends upon changes of legislature, functioning of joint institutions, reaction of citizens. Advisor Minister, Mustafa Bijedic, talked to TV INFO from Budapest. Banja Luka
According to the decision of the Main Board of the RS Socialist Party, four of the Party submitted their resignations to the RS Prime Minister, Milorad Dodik. The Prime Minister did not accept the resignations and asked ministers to continue their work, which is the constitutional right of the Prime Minister, OBN reporter from Banja Luka, Dragan Stanimirovic, confirmed. Milorad Dodik said that ministers promised they would continue to perform their duties.
Prime Minister Dodik indicated recently that the “Sloga” coalition would ask Zivko Radisic to withdraw from the position of BiH Presidency member because Radisic’s Socialist Party left the coalition. The Presidency of the Sloga Coalition also asked Petar Djokic to resign the position of the RS Assembly President. OBN reporter Tatjana Lajsic produced the report from Banja Luka.
Sarajevo
OSCE presented a new rule at the press conference held in Sarajevo today. This new rule prohibits officials from being members of public companies’ boards. This decision includes members of their families as well, OBN reporter, Anes Alic, confirmed. This is especially important for the companies which are facing the process of privatisation.
Zagreb
Croatian President, Stipe Mesic, announced names of the members of his cabinet today. Tomislav Karamarko is the advisor for national security. At the press conference, Karamarko said that his priority would be full professionalisation of the intelligence service. The new Advisor for military issues is General Imre Agotic, not Martin Spegelj as previously announced, Gordana Simonovic confirmed for OBN from Zagreb.
This was followed by an item on the ex Croatian Advisor for Internal Issues, Ivic Pasalic. Media have been accusing Pasalic of participation in a number of political and criminal affairs including the break down of the “Dubrovacka banka”. In an interview produced by OBN journalist, Duska Jurisic, President of Croatian Sabor, Zlatko Tomcic, said that if Ivic Pasalic was proved to be responsible for misuse of authority, he will be deprived of his diplomatic immunity and face court prosecution.

Brcko
A piece on the current situation with the Brcko river harbour. The harbour was opened more than a year ago. However, the capacities have not been used fully.
