Andjelko Barun and Jasna Zlomislic representatives of the Croat war veterans’ associations today met the Federation BiH Minister for Veterans and Disabled Veterans’ Issues Suada Hadzovic and Deputy Minister for Veterans and Disable Veterans Issues Dobrica Jonjic as well as Central Bosnia and West Herzegovina Canton representatives Zdavko Beslic and Mirko Blazevic. The OHR provided a venue to help facilitate this meeting.
The OHR explained at the start of the meeting that it had a great deal of sympathy for the veterans. The solution to this problem lies in the hands of the Cantons working together with the Federation Ministry for Veterans and Disabled Veterans’ Issues in order to provide accurate and up-to-date lists of beneficiaries, so that the payments can be made.
