High Representative Valentin Inzko met today with Vlatko Zrilic, businessman and politician from DNS from Drvar and discussed the situation in Drvar and Canton 10. Both interlocutors agreed that it is unacceptable and damaging for citizens that, fifteen months after elections, Canton 10 remains the only canton in the Federation of BiH without a new government.
“This situation must be resolved by the elected political parties in the Canton, the ones that got citizens’ trust and support and are therefore obliged to reach an agreement for the citizens’ benefit.“ Therefore, the High Representative repeated that there would be no changes in the existing constitutional and legal frame only for the sake of solving political disagreements that could and should be solved through responsible parties’ joint efforts.
