The High Representative, Paddy Ashdown, on Friday extended his decision of 26 Mach suspending budget payments to the HDZ BiH indefinitely.
The High Representative has no wish to maintain this suspension any longer than necessary but it remains within the power of the HDZ to unify the ‘two schools under one roof. This issue is one of creating conditions that will ensure equal access to a high-quality, modern education throughout the country. Objective of these reforms is to end wasteful bureaucratic duplication and free up resources for children and teachers, and that said reforms have no impact onthe language of instruction or the curriculum.
