The High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch, condemns in the strongest possible manner yesterday’s bomb attack against the offices of the Social-Democratic Party in Vitez. Fortunately, nobody was injured. This terrorist act, carried out against one of the leading parties in the country, raises concerns that there are extremists at work who are intent to destabilise Bosnia and Herzegovina by using violence and other undemocratic means. The High Representative is confident that the law enforcement agencies and legal institutions of the country will ensure a swift and smooth investigation and prosecution, and are treating this problem with the seriousness it deserves.
