The General Counsel will be under the general supervision of the European Union Special Representative to Bosnia and Herzegovina and provide the EUSR with independent local legal advice on all matters relating to the EUSR’s mandate, in close co-ordination with the EU Council Secretariat’s Legal Service.

He/she will act as a focal point for all media/press issues, and is tasked specifically with ensuring co-ordination on press office and media activity amongst the various EU actors in BiH, including EUFOR, EUPM and the European Commission.
