The HR/EUSR deplores that no meeting of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina has taken place since 16 October.

First is that the High Representative and EU Special Representative, Miroslav Lajcak, travels to Brussels today where he will hold a series of high-level meetings with the EU and NATO. Tomorrow the HR/EUSR will visit NATO to meet with Secretary General, Jaap De Hoop Scheffer and address the North Atlantic Council.

The way the media transmitted the statement of Reis Ceric in Detroit, the statement deeply affects the BiH Constitution and the Dayton Peace Agreement. His statement is clearly against the Dayton Peace Agreement.

Now, without further delay the High Representative will briefly fill you in on what went on during these last two days at thesession of the Peace Implementation Council.

Having reviewed the RS Government’s conclusions of 29 October the OHR notes that once again not a single argument or fact to show that the High Representative’s decision to amend the Law on the Council of Ministers violates the interests of the Serbs has been offered.
