Impermissible situation concerning the garbage disposal in Mostar Municipalities with the Croat Majority
Mostar, 13 June 2001 OHR (S) is deeply concerned over the situation with the garbage disposal in the Mostar municipalities with Croat majority. It is very irresponsible to allow garbage to accumulate on the streets of Mostar; this situation is a serious health risk, a source of disease and an ecological disgrace.

Brcko, 11 June 2001 Unfortunately, the Brcko District Assembly did not pass the Law on Education, despite its importance to the upcoming school year. There was, however, a debate on possible amendments. The Assembly decided to consider the law again at its next session.

High Representative decides SPRA between RS and FRY does not violate vital interests
Sarajevo, 06 June 2001 The High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch, today concluded that the Agreement on the Establishment of Special Parallel Relations (SPRA) between the Republika Srpska and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia does not constitute a threat to the vital interests of any of the Constituent Peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
