Without progress in the process of European integration, Bosnia and Herzegovina cannot expect further visa liberalisation or a waiver of the visa requirement for EU countries, the High Representative and EU Special Representative Miroslav Lajčák said in a video message on the www.reci.ba website.

The first victims of the genocide in Srebrenica were buried at the Srebrenica/Potocari Memorial and Cemetery five years ago today. 600 victims were buried on 31 March 2003. Since then a further 2,907 people have been buried.

BiH leaders have been able to forge a working consensus on economic policy even during periods of political turbulence, High Representative and EU Special Representative Miroslav Lajčak said today.

“By deciding today to reject the negative report on BiH’s police reform laws the BiH House of Representatives has sent a clear signal that they want a chance to adopt the police reform legislation” said the High Representative and EU Special Representative, Miroslav Lajčák.
