Together with the Swiss Ambassador to BiH, Daniel Hunn, the Principal Deputy High Representative and Brčko Supervisor Michael Scanlan met on Wednesday with the District Government and Assembly leadership.

Brčko is on the right track, but success will depend on the timely completion of the EBRD and World Bank infrastructure projects and the focused expenditure of budget funds to the benefit of the community as a whole, said the Principal Deputy High Representative and Brčko Supervisor, Michael Scanlan.

Brčko is making important progress on infrastructure development and legislation that promotes good governance and transparency, and that is to be applauded.

Positive changes are underway in Brčko, be it on infrastructure, business investment, and improved public services. Indeed, over the last 18 months, important laws have been adopted and steps taken to enhance transparency and good governance.
