Banja Luka – The Ministry for Interior Affairs of Republika Srpska brought the criminal charges against seven persons accusing them of the criminal act of homicide of Srdjan Knezevic. Quoting the RS Statement, BiH PRESS informs that those criminals were paid by Momcilo Krajisnik, BiH Presidency Member. Their names as well as the details of Knezevic’s murder are listed. This group is known to the RS police as a team set up by Zeljko Jankovic and Dusan Tesic, former members of the RS Ministry for Interior Affairs in order to carry out various tasks among which the murder of Srdjan Knezevic. The accused persons received financial compensation from the Member of the BiH Presidency, Momcilo Krajisnik worth between 500 and 1.000 German Mark for their job, the Statement reads. Dragan Kijac, former Minister of the RS Ministry for the Internal Affairs, collected the money and transferred it to them.

Kosovo – The fights in the Decani villages on Kosovo continued today. The Serbian sources inform that the Serb powers entered the village Junik. The Albanian sources did not confirm this news. According to them, 34 civilians died during the Serb attacks. There followed footage of a Serb policeman explaining that the whole territory of Kosovo and Metohija has been deliberated and freedom of movement is guaranteed for everybody, there.

Prijedor – After a month of lengthy work by the UNA-SANA Canton Expert Team for searching the missing persons, there were discovered 15 mass and more than 50 individual graves from which 180 remains of killed Bosniaks were exhumed in the villages, near Prijedor. A part of the Team is continuing the exhumations and another is working on the identification. The co-operation with the local authorities is correct.

The Prijedor expelled and displaced citizens protest publicly against media ignorance of the exhumations of the Prijedor victims. They are asking whether it is done on purpose and how is it possible that the Prijedor tragedy which is called Krajina’s Srebrenica, has been forgotten. The Prijedor residents reproach also the Federal officials who up to today did not appear at the tragedy site and have not attended any of the funerals of the exhumed Bosniaks.

Novi Travnik – Ejup Ganic, Federation President along with Cardinal Vinko Puljic visited a village Pecine near Novi Travnik. The Holy Mass was served for the first time after 1993 in the local church The Jesus Heart and was headed by the Cardinal Puljic. Cardinal called on the believers to return and repair their homes. Ejup Ganic also accentuated the need for returns. Ganic also paid a visit to the residents of the villages Ahmici and Grbavica in the municipality Vitez who returned to their homes in May and where 80 family houses are being reconstructed.

Bosanski Petrovac – The conditions for the refugee return to Bosanski Petrovac are being better every day. The best example is the village Bukovaca to which 67 families have already returned.
