High Representative meets United World Colleges delegation, addresses condition of education in BiH
The High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch, met today with a delegation from United World Colleges (UWC), the UK-based organization that runs schools throughout the world. UWC is proposing to open an international and residential college in Sarajevo. The school will be a fully accredited member of the UWC movement.

Ambassadors’ Tour of Return Areas
The High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch, COMSFOR, General John B. Sylvester and UNHCR Chief of Mission Werner Blatter have invited ambassadors of countries assisting with the return process to visit by helicopter key areas of return across the country on Tuesday, 30 April 2002. The tour had to be postponed due to bad weather.

High Representative Hails BiH Accession to the Council of Europe
On the occasion of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s accession to the Council of Europe, the High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch, expresses his satisfaction with this achievement by the BiH authorities and his confidence that BiH will now integrate more and more with European organisations and structures.

The Supervisor of Brcko Issued an Addendum to the Supervisory Order on Privatization of September 2001
The Supervisor of Brcko Henry L. Clarke today issued the Supervisory Order on Privatization Process in the Brcko District as an Addendum to the Supervisory Order on Conduct of Privatization of the State Capital of Enterprises in the Brcko District of BiH, dated 19 September 2001.

High Representative Reduces Election Announcement Period
The High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch, on Thursday issued a Decision amending the BiH Election Law.
Under this Decision, the High Representative has reduced the statutory time period for notification to be sent by the BiH Election Commission to all competent authorities, from 170 days to 169 days prior to the holding of an election.

High Representative reiterates deadline for the full implementation of Mrakovica-Sarajevo Agreement
The High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch, reiterates today that the deadline for the implementation of the Constitutional Court Decision on the constituent peoples in both Entities in accordance with the letter and spirit of the Mrakovica-Sarajevo Agreement of 27 March 2002 will expire tonight.
