Talks between HDZ BiH, HDZ 1990, SDA and SDP ended late this evening in the OHR with no agreement on formation of the authorities in the FBiH. Ambassadors of the Steering Board of the Peace Implementation Council were present for part of the talks and have given their full support to the OHR’s efforts.
The talks have produced agreement on a common program basis and agreement that the parties participating in a coalition should be represented at all levels of Government. Final agreement could not be reached over the allocation of two Ministerial seats.
Last week, the OHR agreed in good faith to mediate talks between the HDZs and the platform parties, hoping that these four parties would be able to find a fair and reasonable solution.
