“The Office of the High Representative (OHR) and EU Special Representative (OEUSR) take the news of a threat to the RS Prime Minister seriously.
Every BiH citizen should feel safe on every square centimetre of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Over the last two days the OHR-OEUSR has been in contact with EUPM and EUFOR, and through them the BiH security agencies at State, Entity and Cantonal levels. It is our understanding that the various agencies are in touch with each other and that the necessary steps are being taken.
Having followed the development of this story it is with some surprise that the OHR-OEUSR notes statements made yesterday by Krstan Simic of SNSD suggesting that Islamic fundamentalists stand behind this threat.
If Mr. Simic has any information to this effect, he should urgently forward it to the relevant law enforcement agencies.”
