Principal Deputy High Representative Roderick Moore today in Sarajevo met with the President of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina Meddžida Kreso, the President of the High Juidicial and Prosecutorial Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPC) Milorad Novković and Chief Prosecutor Milorad Barašin.
Ambassador Moore expressed his firm support for the state judicial institutions, as established by the Law on the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Law on the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the Law on High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH including their important role in bringing war criminals, corrupt officials, and organized crime figures to justice.
“The Court of BiH has a key role to play in this country in ensuring the highest level of internationally recognized human rights and fundamental freedoms,” the Ambassador said.
