Principal Deputy High Representative, Bruce Berton, met with the Chairman of the Italian Parliamentary Delegation at the Central European Initiative Parliamentary Assembly, Senator Lodovico Sonego, and discussed current political developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Renewed commitment from BiH authorities to take the country further down the long but achievable road of Euro-Atlantic integration processes is a highly welcomed development. The reform process needs to be accelerated and for that Bosnia and Herzegovina will need all the help it can get. The International Community will be there to support BiH’s aspirations” said PDHR Berton.
Principal Deputy High Representative Berton thanked Senator Sonego for Italy’s commitment to Bosnia and Herzegovina and its people as well as Italy’s continued support to the work of OHR and its contribution to the effort of International Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
