Statement
of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina held its thirteenth session in the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo on January 20, 1997.

The Members of the Presidency Mr. Kresimir Zubak and Mr. Momcilo Krajisnik attended the session, and Mr. Alija Izetbegovic, the Chair of the BiH Presidency, was represented by Mr. Haris Silajdzic, Co-Chair of the Council of Ministers. The session of the Presidency of BiH was presided by Mr. Kresimir Zubak.

The Presidency considered once again three World Bank Projects on the reconstruction of BiH. The Presidency expressed its positive position with respect to the above-mentioned agreements, but it estimated that the decision on signing of the same should be brought at the next session. According to the procedure adopted at the eighth session of the Presidency, the agreement with the World Bank will be signed by Mr. Izetbegovic, Chair of the Presidency.

The Presidency welcomed the work accomplished to date by the Council of Ministers, and instructed it to submit a report about the Presidency’s previous instructions by the next Presidency session.

The Presidency of BiH decided to accept the accreditation of the following new Ambassadors to BiH: Mr. Michele Valensise as Ambassador of Italy, Mr. Ricardo Diez-Hochleitner as Ambassador of Spain, Mr. Anatolij Sostak as Ambassador of Ukraine, Mr. Ahmed Ali An-Ansari as Ambassador of Quatar, Mr. Bernard Devenport as Ambassador of Ireland and Mr. Carlos Ramon Bula Camachoa as Ambassador of Columbia.
