RS President Biljana Plavsic, on her way to London, was held at Vienna airport. After an informative discussion and the apology of the Austrian Minister of Interior, the President stated: “I want to believe that this mistake was not intentional”. 40 ” RS Prime Minister Dodik leads the RS delegation at the donors’ conference which is to be held tomorrow and the day after in Brussels. “I expect all the practical promises made by the IC in respect of its supporting the democratic Government will be realised in the course of these two working days of the donors’ conference,” Dodik stated.

The municipal assembly of Modrica accepted the Memorandum of Understanding between the municipalities of Modrica and Gradacac, which was suggested by the OHR and relates to the Annex 7 of the DA on refugee return. The Memorandum was signed by the mayor of Modrica, Novak Gojkovic, and the mayor of Gradacac, Amir Fazlic, at a meeting organised at the initiative of the DHR Hanns Schumacher and the UNHCR Deputy Head of Mission.

The Governor of the Central Bank, Peter Nicholl, stated that bank notes of the KM would not bear the word ‘coupon’ as suggested previously. Instead, they will have all the characteristics of the real currency.

The beginning of new registration plate production was solemnly celebrated in the UNIS factory “Lasta” in Lukavica today. “Lasta” will, according to a contract signed with the RS MUP, produce 100,000 pairs of plates in the first tranche in accordance with IC standards.
