News Summary

I am not destructive – Radisic

BiH Presidency Member Zivko Radisic commented on the statement of High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch, who compared Radisic to dismissed RS President Nikola Poplasen and said that he was destructive and that the nomination of a BiH Council of Ministers Chairman was his last chance for cooperation with the IC. Radisic said that had he not done anything and not consulted in a timely manner and brought his proposal to the Council, he could have been called destructive and obstructive. Radisic is well aware that no proposal can satisfy all tastes and structures, especially in the RS. “The fact is that the Council has not been working for five months and that it is high time it was unblocked. I will be sorry if the RS and RS representatives in joint BiH institutions leave the impression of obstructers” concluded Radisic.

Dodik partially agrees with Petritsch regarding Radisic

RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik stated for RTRS that he partially agrees with High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch in regard to his statement that Radisic was superficial and irresponsible in the nomination of a BiH Council of Ministers Chairman candidate, also comparing Radisic to Poplasen. Dodik doubts that Spasoje Tusevljak will be elected. He stated that RS officials should realize that carrying out duties and performing functions is not their private issue, but those of current situations and political relations.
