Albania – The Albanian leadership asked for NATO intervention against the rebels and anarchy, which was unanimously rejected. BiH TV notes that the international community plays the same games as they did five years ago in BiH.

Sarajevo – SFOR Presser – OHR spokesman Murphy announced Croatian President, Tudjman’s one day visit to West Mostar, BiH tomorrow where he will attend the opening ceremony of an Aluminium factory. Tudjman will not visit the BiH capitol, but Mr. Murphy did not want to give any further comments on that. Tudjman’s host will be, as it was already decided at the last Presidency session, BiH Presidency member Zubak. Murphy said that this visit might help with the capturing of those responsible for Mostar incident on Feb. 10. He also criticised the CoM work, accusing the Ministers for slowness in adopting a number of important laws which influence the postponement of the donors conference. IPTF suspects that the RS police are involved in the latest incident in Gajevi when the last Bosniak house was burnt down. Therefore, the IPTF started their own investigation as of today. The RS authorities were informed of this decision.

Reuters reported that the UN said that the Croat authorities did not have any reasons to raise charges against 11 Bosniaks for the violence in Mostar on Feb. 10.

Pale – RS Prime Minister, Klickovic met Advisor to the US Embassy in Sarajevo, Michael Parmley. Representatives of the RS and Federation Government should meet soon to discuss joint the economic interests of the two BiH Entities. Gojko Klickovic said that both representatives should focus on important strategic issues, such as infrastructure, energy, railways, roads, and establishment of economic ties in the fields of mutual interest.

Sarajevo – Bosniak MPs Club of the Federation House of Peoples held a meeting to discuss issues which will be included in agenda at the next HoP Assembly session. The MPs accepted a suggestion for Soljic and Ganic to be the President and Vice-president of the Federation respectively. The MPs concluded that there were no reasons for not having convened the session for three months. Even though the MPs requested from the HoP Assembly speaker, Ljubic to hold a session, he didn’t do so. However, Ljubic was obliged at least to inform MPs on the reasons for such decision.

Sarajevo – A team of Experts for the Privatisation Programme in BiH held a press conference to inform the media about phases of privatisation, restitution and holders relations in BiH which should be adopted by the BiH Parliament.

Speaker of the RS Assembly, Dragan Kalinic, held talks in Pale with World Bank representatives. Strategies for helping RS in next couple of years were discussed. Realization of this program is foreseen already for June this year. Kalinic stressed that the RS Assembly is adopting laws to turn RS into an open and free society with a high level of respect for human rights and modern market economy based on private ownership. Mrs. Wallich emphasized the aim of the World Bank to provide financial aid in two ways, by investing in infrastructure and by direct support to reforms.

Premier Gojko Klickovic met with the US Charge d’Affairs, Michael Parmley, and exchanged views on how to improve living conditions in RS and how to organize the meeting on the Governmental level between the RS and the Federation. “We accepted the initiative and most likely we will have such a meeting already on Monday,” said Klickovic.

The chief of the Police Station in Zvornik, colonel Dragomir Vasic, stated that the deadline for issuing the identification cards of Republika Srpska (RS) to Muslim citizens in the villages of Mahala, Jusici and Dugi Dio, which expired on March 14, has been prolonged to March 17. Vasic said that on March 13, some 48 applications were submitted in the village of Jusici and 54 application in the villages of Mahala and Dugi Dio.
