PEC finds seven candidates to be in violation of PEC Rules and Regulation on illegal occupancy

According to Tanya Domi, the Provisional Election Commission (PEC) found seven candidates in the upcoming municipal elections to be in violation of the PEC Rules and Regulations on illegal occupancy. These candidates have been declared ineligible for the April municipal elections:

  • Vlado Salapura, SPRS candidate from Bosanski Petrovac Municipality
  • Samir Didovic, SDP candidate from Bosanski Petrovac Municipality
  • Magbula Mernagic, BH DA candidate from Banovici Municipality
  • Husnija Hasanbegovic, Liberal Citizen Coalition candidate from Banovici Municipality
  • Aziz Efendic, Party for BiH candidate from Banovici Municipality
  • Galib Sabitovic, CD Coalition candidate from Prozor-Rama Municipality
  • Salko Sokolovic, CD Coalition candidate from Konjic Municipality The OSCE will continue to check compliance with the PEC rule on illegal occupancy throughout the elections.
