Prcac arrives in The Hague Tribunal

Deputy commander of the Omarska prison camp Dragoljub Prcac was arrested by SFOR near Prijedor and is in The Hague Tribunal since Sunday evening, ICTY representative Paul Risley confirmed. The Hague Tribunal indicted Prcac of violations of the customs of war and crimes against humanity. According to the indictment, Prcac and his subordinates participated in the rape, abuse and murder of Bosniaks and Croats in the Omarska camp in 1992.

New Croatian authority uncovers documentation on crimes committed in BiH

The new Croatian authority has uncovered the secrets of its predecessors. Who was the HDZ protecting? What has been revealed by these secret documents? Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan said that these documents could identify the real perpetrators of certain crimes, such as the crime in Ahmici. The former authority or certain persons in that authority had these documents, but did not give them to Blaskic’s attorneys, Racan said. He added his government would give these documents to Blaskic’s attorneys in accordance with the publicly accepted obligation that the truth, no matter how it looks, must be presented. Blaskic’s attorney Ante Nobilo said that the wall blocking the defense for the last four years has finally been penetrated.

Blaskic victim of one criminal faction – Association of Croatian Homeland War Volunteers

Slobodna Dalmacija published an article in which the Association of Croatian Homeland War Volunteers claims that Blaskic is the victim of one criminal faction of Croatian policy. According to this Association, the real line of responsibility was Zagreb-Mostar. It also said that the members of the Croatian Secret Service could give more information in this regard. The Association of Volunteers emphasized that central Bosnian Croats were sent to The Hague so the Croatian political elite could compensate for its mistakes.

Five unknown perpetrators enter Belgrade Studio B, wound two employees

Five unknown perpetrators in police uniforms entered the premises of RTV Studio B, wounded two employees and interrupted the broadcast of this program for one hour, Belgrade media report. Yugoslav Telecom Minister Ivan Markovic told Studio B that it would have to pay DM 1.7 million within eight days for the interim use of its TV and radio frequency or face legal measures.
