News Summary
Hodzic demands IC look into who hid information on crimes
Tuzla Canton Interior Minster Ferid Hodzic claims he did nothing to distract investigations. Moreover, he himself launched an investigation into alleged criminal acts in the Canton after an Izet Hadzic statement regarding the Cantonal Assembly. He demanded that the IC look into who it was that hid information about crimes for half a year. “We did everything to abide by the law, there are no misunderstandings with the BiH Federation Ministry and my relationship with the Minister is a personal matter” said Hadzic. He claimed that no removals were made except for some restriction of the authority of certain officials. Hodzic emphasized that Osman Osmanovic was named coordinator in the Brcko area, although in possession of information of criminal acts in the Canton, which he kept secret from all officials in the Ministry, including former Minister Mirza Jusufagic. Therefore, he is surprised at the allegations made by IC representatives, since he has personally shown them this information. (01:41)
