BiH House of Peoples adopts law on citizenship

The BiH House of Peoples met in a session separate from the House of Representatives in Sarajevo on Tuesday to discuss several draft laws. The House of Peoples adopted the Law on BiH Citizenship unanimously, but conditioned it on a caucus of the Serb delegates. Delegates from the RS demanded that parliament, along with the law, adopt a conclusion asking the BiH Presidency to intensify activities on the establishment of diplomatic relations with Yugoslavia and work on agreements on dual citizenship with Croatia and Yugoslavia. High Representative Carlos Westendorp brought the Law on BiH Citizenship last year.

Tudjman denies accusations of The Hague Tribunal Prosecutor

Legal experts and opposition politicians in Croatia speculate that this might be an introduction to an eventual ICTY indictment against Tudjman.
