NATO Secretary General Solana officially announced completion of the air-campaign against Yugoslavia – ten days after the campaign has been suspended. “The Sunday Times” published that KFOR soldiers found five concentration camps in Kosovo.

G8 summit in Cologne was completed today. Main issue of the closing day was Kosovo, and participants of the summit appealed on all sides in Kosovo to comply with the achieved agreement and to implement the regulations of the recent United Nations Security Council resolution.

European Council delegation that is in visit to Bosnia, met in Sarajevo with FA Minister Prlic. Prlic said that this visit is important for BiH acceptance to the European Council, and added that this acceptance would be a significant stimulation for BiH and the region, as well as for the Stability Pact. EC delegation also visited Mostar, and has opened an office of this organisation. EC Secretary General said the Old Bridge in Mostar will be reconstructed and that there is nothing more important than union of the two communities in this region.

US Ambassador to BiH, Kauzlarich spoke at the meeting of “Circle 99” where the main subject was corruption in BiH. Kauzlarich said that corruption endangers DPA implementation, and establishment of s democratic society, based on the rule of law.

Two-day conference called “Role of Woman in Politics” was held in Zenica, organised by US Foundation for Civilian Society and British Foundation for Central and Eastern Europe. Main issue of the conference was how to strengthen the role of women in politics.

RTV BiH brought coverage of current situation in Brcko. RTV BiH reporter said that most of the people in Brcko are facing the present situation and the final arbitration decision, and that both, people and politicians begin to realise importance of two-way return.

Association of BiH Electronic Media was established in Neum this weekend. The main purpose of the association is to improve co-operation amongst its members and to enable development of area of the media in BiH. 84 radio and television houses approached the association, and 20 of them are from the RS. The Independent Media Commission and the Association will co-operate in development of the system of legal regulations of the media and on strengthening of fair competition in the media market. RS representatives also stressed importance of the Association.
