ICTY examines allegations of Tudjman responsibility for war crimes in BiH

The Hague Tribunal has began an investigation into allegations that Croatian President Franjo Tudjman was responsible war crimes in BiH, as claimed in a report by 1861 HSP President, Dobroslav Paraga. Paraga explains that the motivation for his action was the most horrific attempt in recent history to destroy and displace Croats in BiH and place Bosniaks in concentration camps, as well as dividing BiH, all of this in cooperation with Milosevic.

SDA on OHR decision to invalidate permanent flat ownership

The SDA issued a public announcement stating, “the OHR decision to invalidate permanent flat ownership will be acceptable only if implemented throughout BiH. The SDA will deliberate on this decision soon. Disrespect for the OHR decision would bring into question the next Donors’ Conference for BiH. If the conference is rescheduled, it would be of no help to the entire BiH situation, housing circumstances or returns to BiH.”

OHR and OSCE fully support IMC decision

The OHR and the OSCE fully support the IMC decision to suspend Pale-based Channel-S until further notice. This channel may be shut down because of their frequent use of inflammatory language, stated OHR spokesperson Alexandra Stiglmayer. If the IMC decision is not respected, the OHR has many options at its disposal. The OSCE commented that Channel-S has performed numerous violations of the PEC Media Rules and Regulations, and not respecting the IMC decision would show their unwillingness to respect basic democratic media standards.
