Sarajevo – I carefully read in the media a statement on the alleged misuse of the public funds in BiH Federation, said Alija Izetbegovic, Presidency Chairman in his announcement of the late afternoon. If the text is authentic, one has to state that it neither speaks of corruption nor of misuse. It says probably that money was not used as it was intended reads, Izetbegovic’s statement trying further to explain a distinction between a situation when a state doesn’t pay taxes to its own accounts and when the tax is instead on the state account, ends in the pocket of some individual. The first is a financial violation and the second is a heavy crime. Izetbegovic supported a control over the public funds, but he said it was not fair to suggest to the people that something is a corruption if it is not a case.

Int.Organisations Presser – Reacting on the Izetbegovic’s statement, published partly October 31, Simon Haselock, HR’s spokesman said that all what has appeared in the local media relating to the report on the misuse of the public funds, is selling of the fog, without any substantial proof. The BiH Government is expected to present a detailed report in the next two weeks and if necessary to bring criminal charges against the culprits, he concluded.

Sarajevo – The RS deputies both BiH Parliamentary Houses rejected today for the third time to attend the joint meeting of the State Parliament Collegiate body at which a details for the next session should have been decided. The attendance at the meeting which was organised by the OHR was rejected without any explanation.

Follows a Report on the implementation of the election results for the local authority:
Travnik – The Municipality Constitutive Council Session was not held. HDZ deputies did not appear following the breakage of the talks with the Bosniak side after a murder which happened in the village Null. The IC representatives at the meeting expressed their dissatisfaction with HDZ behaviour.
Zenica – HDZ and SDP Deputies did not attend the meeting in Zenica. Inter-party negotiations are going ahead beginning of tomorrow.

Bihac – A Municipality Constituting Session was interrupted because of not harmonised stances on the suggestions for the election of the Municipal Commissioner and the Counsil’s Chairman.
