World

6000 young people gathered in a traditional march in Poland. “The March of the Living” connects thousands of people every year. This year, the Israeli and Polish Presidents lead the march. Names of thousands of murdered Jews were read last night in Berlin. The report was produced by Zeljka Lekic.

Mostar

Relatives of killed Jews in Mostar also visited their graves, and marked the Day of victims. Zlatko Serdarevic produced the report.

Sarajevo

It is still unknown who will be the future Foreign Minister. Both Bosniacs and Croats want this position. The High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch attended the today’s Assembly session. OBN reporter Damir Kaletovic produced the report.

Banja Luka

The RS Assembly session will continue tomorrow. The RS Prime Minister, Milorad Dodik will submit the report on the government’s work so far. If delegates don’t accept the report, voting on non-confidence in the government is possible. Both political blocks in the Assembly claim that they have the majority. Bosanska Gradiska

An international border crossing will be opened tomorrow between Croatia and B&H. The bridge was reconstructed thanks to the EU donation. “The EU donation enabled reconstruction of this bridge, which is very important for trade and traffic between Croatia and B&H”, said Oleg Milisic, the OHR Spokesman. World

A Philippine soldier was killed, and four soldiers were injured in clashes between the police and kidnappers. The kidnappers threatened that they would kill 2 hostages, if the Army don’t stop their actions against them.

Iraq accused Iran for the rocket attack on Baghdad, when 8 civilians were injured, reported the BBC.

According to the news agency Interfax, Russian forces killed 6 Cechenian fighters in the last 24 hours.

95 people were arrested, and 26 were injured during the 1st May anti-capitalist demonstrations in London.

16 policemen and 25 protestors were injured in Berlin during the 1st May celebration, that was organised by the National Democratic Party.

The KFOR Commander, Juan Ortunno said that he is worried because of the latest incidents in Kosovo.

The OSCE mission welcomed the recent decision of 34 politicians to resign from their jobs in public enterprises, in order to obey the Election Commission regulation on incompatibility and conflict of interests. 20 requests were submitted for foundation of new municipalities. The HDZ insists on partition of Gornji Vakuf municipality, by foundation of the new Uskoplje municipality. The result was the embargo on all donations for Gornji Vakuf. OBN journalist Amarildo Gutic produced the report.

The Brcko Fire-brigade announced a strike tomorrow, because they haven’t received their salaries. They have a vary old work equipment, which endangers their security. Reported by Slobodanka Radojkovic.
