The B&H Parliament House of Representatives discussed the issue of common passports for 7 hours. The session was interrupted due to the lack of quorum. Reported by Adis Saranovic.
“The only losers are citizens of B&H”, the US Ambassador, Thomas Miller said, talking about the non-adoption of a law on common passports. “Support of the International Community is not unconditional. I hope that the people of B&H will draw real conclusions out of this”, Mr. Miller added.
Banja Luka
The RS Government started procedure before the RS Constitutional Court about dissolving of the Government by the RS Assembly. The Chairman of the RS Assembly, Petar Dokic said that he trusted the Constitutional Court. “The Assembly will support all activities of the RS Government that are in the interest of RS citizens”; Dokic added.
“You cannot take all responsibilities from the executive authorities, and hold them responsible at the same time”, Mr. Miller said, talking about the situation in the RS Assembly. “People of the RS are losers here”, he added. “I think that the influence of Yugoslavia on the RS is, unfortunately, very large”, Miller said.

There is a large number of unemployed in the Federation. The Federal Government feels that the situation is in reality much better than in the statistics and that the industrial situation significantly improved, Mirna Sadikovic reported.
“General situation has improved since 1995, but it is still significantly below the level from 1991”, the Ambassador said.
“Unfortunately, most of returnees in B&H are old people. They return to their destroyed homes”, Miller said, talking about refugee return.
Mostar
The HDZ organised a press conference today, calling the last arrest action of the Federal police force an “introduction to anarchy”. “It is beyond us that an international official calls war veterans a mob. We are very worried because of the way in which the International Community communicates with the media, when we are the object of the communication”, the HDZ Spokesman, Zoran Tomic said, after yesterday’s statement of the Head of the OHR in Mostar, Finn Lyngem. “I hope that this will not stop the progress, that was made as a result of co-operation between the Mayor of Mostar, Safet Orucevic and his Deputy, Neven Tomic”, the Ambassador said in the end of the interview.
Kosovska Mitrovica
The opposition presidential candidate in Yugoslavia, Vojislav Kostunica visited Kosovska Mitrovica. He was attacked by a group of Milosevic’s supporters. “I went there with a message of peace, and I am satisfied with the visit”, Mr. Kostunica said for OBN.

According to the RS Minister of Energetic and Mining, Vladimir Dokic, there should be no problems in power supply in the RS. “We will try to solve the problem with the thermo electric plant “Ugljevik” in a few days”, Mr. Dokic said.
