Eight Applications Received for Two Vacant Judicial Posts in the BH Constitutional Court

In the open competition for two posts as members of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to be appointed by the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (RSNA), the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Republika Srpska has received eight applications. The final selection will be done by the RSNA upon proposal of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Republika Srpska.

The number of applicants is satisfactory,” said Judge Jan Erik Oja, President of the HJPCs. “At this point it seems that the overall qualifications of applicants are good, however the applications will be reviewed and their content verified prior to starting the interviewing process. The HJPC of RS is aware of the need to propose the candidates to the RSNA for approval in order to have the Constitutional Court of BiH operational. We will choose the best candidates and put them forward as a proposal to the RSNA.” – concluded Judge Oja.
