High Representative Valentin Inzko met yesterday with UN Secretary General António Guterres to discuss developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to brief the Secretary General on his semiannual report that is to be presented before the UN Security Council today.

High Representative Valentin Inzko visited Washington DC ahead of his regular semiannual address before the United Nations Security Council, where he will present his report on the overall status of peace implementation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The current political discourse related to reserve police forces in the entities, which started with the unilateral step taken by the RS on this issue, does not contribute to peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
