Inzko Meets Danish Minister for European Affairs Wammen

The High Representative, Valentin Inzko, met with Danish Minister for European Affairs Nicolai Wammen in Sarajevo today. High Representative Inzko outlined the political progress the country is making, and discussed the current level of implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

“The momentum gained by the formation of the Council of Ministers must not be lost” said the High Representative, stressing the importance of the ongoing domestic political dialogue for the country. “Political leaders must invest additional effort to overcome their differences so that the country can continue to move forwards “, Inzko told Minister Wammen.

Welcoming the support expressed by the European Union, through the Danish EU Presidency, to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the High Representative in fulfilling his Dayton mandate, Inzko underlined that OHR’s cooperation and coordination with the EU’s Special Representative “remains excellent”.

The Danish EU Presidency once again reiterated the EU’s unequivocal commitment to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
