High Representative Christian Schmidt met today with Aleksandar Zolak, Director of the Agency for Medical Products and Medical Devices of BiH. Schmidt expressed his full support to Zolak and his well-functioning Agency as the only institution authorised, capable, and equipped to ensure the safety, quality, and efficiency of pharmaceuticals and medical devices in use in BiH. The High Representative called for rapid adoption of the state budget to ensure the uninterrupted work of the Agency that safeguards the public health and the wellbeing of all citizens.
