“It is positive news that leaders have at long last, finally reached agreement on the Council of Ministers and other important measures, I congratulate them,” said High Representative Valentin Inzko today.
“I encourage the political leaders to build on this positive development. Many important challenges will lie ahead of a new CoM in the months ahead – challenges that must be overcome in order to move this country forward in a way that will benefit the citizens”, said Inzko.
The High Representative underlined that the new leadership will need to adopt a global fiscal framework and a state budget that will ensure the full functioning of the state-level institutions and the fulfillment of BiH’s international obligations; take urgent measures to promote economic growth and stimulate employment; meet the requirements that will ensure progress towards EU integration; and complete the steps necessary to enable the start of the country’s NATO Membership Action Plan.
