High Representative Valentin Inzko these days presented the Rotary Club of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a donation of 120,000 Euros collected by the Rotary Club of Austria to help victims of the floods that caused havoc in large parts of the country during May.
“The experience of the floods testified once again to the fact that citizens in this country help one another in times of crisis, regardless of community or origin,” the High Representative said. “In addition, the spirit of solidarity and unity both within BiH and from across borders that we have seen since the flood crisis began should serve as an example to all. The message is that good people get things done – and things get done through cooperation, consensus and goodwill.”
