The High Representative, Paddy Ashdown, has issued a Decision stipulating that the number of councillors in the Municipal Assembly of Zepce, following the Municipal Election for Zepce on 5 October 2002, will be 23. The BiH Election Commission recommended the figure of 23 councillors, as agreed with the Interim Municipal Board of Zepce, as this equitably reflects the number of voters in Zepce Municipality. The High Representative has issued this Decision as the Election Commission must have a definitive number of councillors in the Municipal Assembly in order to make the necessary administrative provision for the October election.
