Acting High Representative Raffi Gregorian expressed his full support for today’s joint action by EUFOR, NATO and RS Police against a former military associate of fugitive indictee Ratko Mladic and his support network.
“Full cooperation with the ICTY is an absolute requirement of the Dayton Peace Agreement as well as international and domestic legislation”, said Gregorian. “The International Community will not give up its efforts to bring Mladic to justice and to have him answer the serious charges against him. For too long he has been a burden on the people of this country and Serbia. It is long past time for that burden to be lifted. We will continue to focus on identifying and neutralizing Mladic’s support network and bringing to account those have been obstructing the law and helping him evade justice,” Gregorian concluded.
