The High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch, has issued today a decision on the establishment of the Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, instructing the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Entities to take all necessary measures to enable the full development of the District.
At the same time, the Supervisor of Brcko, Robert W. Farrand, has issued two Supervisory Orders. The first Order declares the Statute of the Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina to be in force. With the second Order, the Supervisor has appointed the new interim District Government and the Head of the District Revenue Agency.
The High Representative’s Decision and the Supervisory Orders have been sent to the relevant authorities of Bosnia Herzegovina, the Republika Sprska, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
