High Representative Valentin Inzko met today in Sarajevo with Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic.

Since 2009, every 22nd of December is a sad day for Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens. This date marks another year in which a significant segment of the BiH population remains deprived of a fundamental right – the right to be a candidate for election and be adequately represented in the BiH Presidency and the BiH House of Peoples.

The Principal Deputy High Representative and Brcko Supervisor, Dennis Hearne, visited Banja Luka today.

During his meetings, High Representative Inzko outlined his view of the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the challenges ahead for the country.

Progress on the EU path remains the overarching and positive political goal that unites everyone across the entire political spectrum in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” the High Representative noted.

The High Representative used the opportunity to once again call on all in BiH to accept this final verdict and move further along the path towards reconciliation.

The International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) today rendered its first-instance verdict in the case against the Chief of the Main Staff of the Army of Republika Srpska, General Ratko Mladic.

During his visit to the United States, High Representative Valentin Inzko participated in a panel discussion dedicated to future perspectives for Bosnia and Herzegovina, hosted by the Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
