The Standing Committee on Military Matters (SCMM) Press Statement
The Standing Committee on Military Matters (SCMM) is one of the common institutions established by Dayton. Its role is to coordinate the activities of armed forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A meeting of the SCMM was scheduled to take place at Lukavica, at 1000am on Tuesday 31st March 1998, under the chairmanship of President Izetbegovic.

Speculation in the media about the multi-ethnic administration boycotting their work
There has been speculation in the media that members of the multi-ethnic administration have been boycotting their work in Brcko. As is only to be expected, all parties are taking some time to reflect on the Supplemental Award but OHR has remained fully engaged with both the mayor and his officials in the past week.

Ian McLeod to act in Amb. Farrand’s Absence
Ambassador Bill Farrand, Supervisor for Brcko, is undergoing surgery in the United States. High Representative Carlos Westendorp has appointed Mr. Ian McLeod, Deputy to the Supervisor, to act in Ambassador Farrand's stead during the Supervisor's absence. Agreement on Trains
On Monday 16 February a meeting took place in the OHR between railway experts, Mr. Brankovic, Kontic and Knezovic and Mr Paul Monnory. The meeting concluded work on a draft decree regarding the establishment of a Commission for the Regulation of inter-Entity railway traffic.

No evidence of unrest referred to in the Federation media
There have been reports in some Federation media on 11 and 12 February, 1998, referring to incidents of unrest on February 11 in Brcko town and the surrounding RS territory. These reports allege the burning of Bosniac houses and instances of verbal abuse directed against returnees to Brcko.
