Supervisor of Brcko Ambassador Henry L. Clarke today appointed three new councilors to the Brcko District Assembly. These councilors are:
- Stojan Kasterovic
- Marko Draganic
- Branislav Margetic
The three newly filled vacancies had occurred because SDS Councilors Cvijetin Nikolic, Milan Puric and Milenko Simikic (Vice-President of the Brcko District Assembly) had not returned to the Assembly since leaving it on 3 October 2001 and announcing they would boycott its work.
With the appointments of Mr. Kasterovic, Mr. Draganic and Mr. Margetic, the Brcko District Assembly is again at full strength with adequate representation of all three peoples in the District.
Ambassador Clarke congratulates the newly appointed Councilors to their appointment and expresses his confidence that they will perform their duty in serving the Brcko District Community, bound only by their conscience, the Statute of the District and the interests of all people.
