Supervisor of Brcko, Dr. Raffi Gregorian issued today a Supervisory Order enacting laws prepared by the Brcko District Judicial Commission and addenda to the Rules of Procedure of the Brcko District Assembly as prepared by Brcko District Assembly Expert Service. The laws and addenda stem from Paragraphs 6 and 7 of the Supervisory Order of 21 December 2009 and are intended to facilitate and improve the effectiveness and functionality of Brcko Courts and other institutions as well as to ensure the protection of the interests, status and powers of Brcko District through effective procedure and the maintenance of harmony after Supervision has ended.
The Supervisor thanked the Brcko District Judicial Commission and the Expert Service of Brcko District Assembly for preparing the necessary drafts within the timeline set forth in his Supervisory Order of 21 December 2009. The Brcko Supervisor decided to regulate these issues by way of a Supervisory Order as the most expeditious way to facilitate completion of the Final Award with regard to implementation of Amendment I to the BiH Constitution within Brcko institutions and thereby avoid any legal uncertainty that might otherwise arise from any delay.
