Brcko Law Review Commission Paricipated in the first plenary session of the Brcko District Judicial Commission which was held on Saturday, 30 June 2001.
The Judicial Commission is composed of:
Representative of the Constitutional Court of BiH: Vitomir Popovic
President of the Appellate Court of Brcko District: Damjan Kaurinovic
President of the Basic Court of the Brcko District: Jadranko Grcevic
Director of the Agency for Legal Aid of the Brcko District:: Nada Majinovic
Prosecutor of the Brcko District:: Zekerija Mujkanovic
Two Brcko District Residents: Mira Mijatovic and Armin Drapic
In accordance with the Law on Judicial Commission, members of the Commission elected Nada Majinovic as the President of the Judicial Commission and Mira Mijatovic as the Vice-president of the Judicial Commission.
The Brcko District Judicial Commission was founded in order to: establish an independent and impartial judiciary and prosecution, provide independence and professionalism in the performance of judges, legal aid lawin the performance of judges, legal aid lawyers and prosecutor’s function, and provide a professional and efficient Judiciary.
The commission is an independent body, exclusive of other Brcko District Governmental organs. It exercises its authority within the scope provided by the Statute and laws of the Brcko District.
