The High Representative, Valentin Inzko, today amended the Law on Transmission of Electric Power, Regulator and System Operator of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The High Representative’s amendment annuls the 2010 deadline by which the electric power suppliers in BiH are to reach agreement on an arrangement of electric power supply to Brcko District for 2011.
This amendment, made in coordination with the Brcko Supervisor, the European Commission, and responsible authorities in BiH, contributes to creating the conditions for safe, sustainable and affordable electricity supply to the Brcko District, under terms that are transparent and fair.
