Following the holding of local elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, High Representative Valentin Inzko said today:
“The elections are over and the campaigning is behind us. Now that citizens have decided whom they want at the helm of their local communities, it is time to get back to work. Each and every municipality in the country has many issues that need to be resolved as quickly as possible.
I urge leaders at all levels and political parties to use this window of opportunity to address issues of real concern to citizens, such as job creation, the economy and the Euro-Atlantic agenda. This is what their voters expect.”
