The Supervisor of Brcko, Gary Matthews, issued yesterday an addendum to the Supervisory Order on the Financial System of the Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina dated 13 April 2000.
Under the addendum, the Entities will retain the revenues originating from electricity charges and contributions to the entity pension and health funds collected in the District. This is an operational amendment that does not lessen or alter in any way the obligation of the Entities to provide financial support to the Brcko District, including support in the areas of health, pensions or public utilities such as the electricity service.
The Order has been sent today to the appropriate authorities of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Sprska and the Brcko District and has immediate effect.
