The political leadership in BiH must stop once for ever with unilateral threats and challenges to the Dayton Peace Agreement and focus instead on European priorities.
Proclaiming such things as “RS Sovereignty” or “BiH as State Union” is unacceptable, and will never come to be. Sovereignty is an attribute of States, therefore of BiH, and the RS is plainly a part of BiH’s internal structure. In other words, and pursuant to the Constitution, the RS is an Entity, not a state within a state, full stop.
I expect the RSNA to act in accordance with this constitutional and legal reality at all times, including at its special session of 13th October.
I wish to remind that the PIC Steering Board has also made it clear that BiH politicians must end their practice of threatening unilateral changes to the constitutional structure of the country, or to assume as their responsibility the PIC’s prerogative of deciding on OHR closure, whether they like it or not. Any concrete act contrary to that will be considered crossing the red line.
