Sarajevo

The B&H Alpine expedition returned to Sarajevo today. They climbed to Mount Blank on 7th of August. Reported by Slobodan Maksimovic.

Sarajevo

The OHR is worried because of obstruction of the education agreement, signed on 10th May this year, especially regarding the part on elimination of segregation in the B&H system of education. The OHR feels that entity ministries obstruct the Dayton Peace Accords. The EU has invested DM 30 million in the educational reform so far. The report was produced by Vedran Persic.

Sarajevo

According to the OSCE, preparations for B&H elections have been satisfactory. Citizens will vote in 12 election units in the Federation of B&H, and in 6 election units in the RS. Reported by Damir Kaletovic.

The Montenegrin President, Milo Dukanovic repeated that citizens of Montenegro would not participate in elections in Yugoslavia.

Tuzla

After the suspension of production in June, the situation in the Soda Factory in Lukavac slightly improved. According to the Union President, all previous contracts should be audited. One of the main problems is purchase of production materials. Reported by Damir Slijepcevic.

Prozor

Construction of a new hydro-electric power plant in Prozor has been a problem for several years. Drago Lukenda has the licence for the construction. However, local citizens are against it. Enes Ratkusic produced the report.

Banja Luka

Deadline for installing control devices at RS gas stations has been postponed. The new deadline is 30th September. With these devices, sale of gas will be more efficiently controlled. Reported by Dragan Stanimirovic.

Sarajevo

The RS Telecom reduced prices of cell phone connections at the beginning of July. The GSM B&H also announced price reduction by the end of the month. Reported by Svjetlana Celic.

Mostar

An incident took place after the match between Zrinski and Velez. Buses of Velez fans were stoned. However, this did not influence the opening ceremony of traditional jumps from Star Most into the river Neretva, Alija Behram confirmed.
