During a meeting today in Sarajevo with Reisu-l-ulema Husein Kavazovic, High Representative Valentin Inzko once again expressed his best wishes to the Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, who recently celebrated Eid al-Fitr. Inzko expressed his hope that all those who celebrate this great Muslim holiday were able to spend it with their loved ones – friends or family.
The High Representative also recalled the importance of religious communities and the role they play in everyday life for many people. High Representative Inzko and Reis Kavazovic agreed that religious leaders can contribute to the creation of an atmosphere of tolerance in BiH, which is one of the most religiously diverse countries in Europe.
