High Representative Valentin Inzko expressed his full support for the work of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in a meeting with the Chief Prosecutor, Serge Brammertz, in Sarajevo today.
“The processing of war crimes is crucial for reconciliation and stability and the citizens of BiH have the right to see justice done. The jurisprudence established by the ICTY and the legacy of the ICTY are an important contributing factor to the strengthening of the capacity of BiH judiciary to deal with war crimes cases independently and effectively,” the High Representative said.
